You can have a maximum of three adventures in your Adventure Zone. If you ever have more than three, you must discard one.
Yes, unless the card has the Delay icon, which means the ability cannot be used the turn it enters play.
If a Feat is thwarted, you archive it without performing its effect.
Leverage abilities can be used once per turn cycle. To activate it, turn the card sideways. At the beginning of your next turn, reset it by turning it upright.
Twist cards and abilities can be played or activated during a rival’s turn whenever they perform an action, or at the beginning and end of their action step. You can also use them at any point during your own action step.
When a card with the Bond icon enters play, you choose a lead from your hand to bond with it. This bonded lead determines how the site or relic functions. If the bonded card is archived, the bonded lead is discarded.
You reveal adventures until you have at least two in your Adventure Zone. The next player chooses one for you to keep; the rest are scrapped. You then draw three leads and continue your turn, skipping the adventure reveal step in subsequent turns.
You win by either completing an adventure or performing a BREAKTHROUGH with seven ActionX cards between your Active and Archive Zones.
During your turn you may have any number of leads in your hand, but you must discard down to seven leads at the end of each of your turns.
Yes, during your action step, you may take as many actions as you wish or as your resources allow, unless otherwise stipulated by a card.
Heroic Feats are advanced actions that can help disrupt rivals or gain resources. You don’t need to understand them to start playing and can learn about them after a few rounds.
If a bonded site or relic is moved to an archive, the lead bonded to it is discarded.
Sites and relics stay in your Active Zone until the game ends or an effect (e.g Sabotage) causes them to be archived.
Yes, but each Leverage ability can only be used once per turn cycle, and you must leverage each card separately.
When a relic enters play, choosing NOBLE or RUTHLESS determines which effect the relic will have while it’s in play. Generally, NOBLE effects benefit you while RUTHLESS effects play to your rivals’ disadvantage.
You can play Twist cards and activate Twist abilities at any point during your action step and during specific times on your rivals’ turns.
Cards with the Delay icon require planning ahead since their abilities can’t be used immediately upon entering play.
Normally, you need to collect all leads matching the lead icons on the adventure to complete it unless you are able to pay the cost using ActionX cards (e.g Follow the River or Tectonic Discovery) or an ActionX card stipulates otherwise (e.g. Lost to History.)
If the lead deck is empty, take the top lead of the discard pile and set it aside, shuffle the rest of the discard pile to form a new lead deck and use the set-aside lead as the start of the new discard pile.
No, you must reveal an adventure from the top of the deck or discard pile during this step, unless you’re in the Final Adventure and instructed to skip this step.
No. You may have an unlimited number of ActionX cards in play.
