When an adventurer goes on the search for treasure, they never know what they will find.

They may set off on an expedition with a goal in mind, but no great story goes according to plan, and the wonders found along the way could lead them to fortunes untold. But to earn fortune’s favor, it is up to you make shrewd use of the discoveries you found along the way.

When we created X: Seekers of Fortune, our goal was to bring the depth of trading card games to a format that’s approachable for new players and fair for seasoned ones. That led us to core gameplay of X: Seekers of Fortune; Expedition.

In Expedition, everyone draws from one shared ActionX deck. New players can jump right in, and experienced players get a level playing field.

Setup is easy: shuffle the ActionX deck and draw. Every game is unique, and each card drawn tests your creativity and decision-making. Moves become strategic guesses or bold gambles.

By sharing the deck, you’ll quickly learn all the cards and build confidence for advanced modes like Draft and Constructed. Stay tuned for those articles on Instagram.

With expansions, the ActionX deck will grow. We will design cards to work well together out of the box, but you will discover synergies and craft your own Expedition decks. Think of us as musicians, and you as the curator of a playlist for your own brand of adventure.

Expedition is your adventure, and like any good adventure, the story is what you make it.
