Fortune takes many forms. Along your adventures, you'll uncover wondrous temples and forgotten tombs buried by time, discover mysterious relics lying dormant beneath centuries of dust, and summon extraordinary courage and determination to overcome the challenges in your path.

To capture the spirit of these different kinds of fortunes, X: Seekers of Fortune™ features three distinct types of ActionX cards.

SITES

Sites represent the remarkable locations you discover when drawing rewards from the ActionX deck.

When played, Sites enter your Active Zone and remain there until they are Archived.

Every Site has two abilities:

  • Aura: A persistent, triggered, or activated ability that you benefit from as long as the Site remains in your Active Zone.

  • Exploit: A powerful ability that often requires sacrificing the Site to unleash its full potential. If the final word of an Exploit ability is ARCHIVE, move that Site from your Active Zone to your Archive Zone as the ability resolves.

Knowing the perfect moment to exploit a Site can be the difference between victory and defeat.

RELICS

Relics are the legendary objects you discover when drawing rewards from the ActionX deck.

Like Sites, Relics enter your Active Zone when played and remain there until they are Archived.

Most Relics require you to choose a mode as they enter play. Once chosen, that mode remains locked in for as long as you control the Relic, even if it later moves to your Archive Zone.

The two modes are:

  • Noble: Focused on benefiting you.

  • Ruthless: Focused on hindering your rivals.

Choosing the right path can turn a Relic into one of the most powerful tools in your arsenal.

FEATS

Feats represent the bold actions and daring strategies you discover when drawing rewards from the ActionX deck.

Unlike Sites and Relics, Feats are one-time effects. After a Feat resolves, or if it is canceled, it is moved directly to your Archive Zone.

Some Feats allow you to choose between two different effects. You make this choice as you play the Feat, before it resolves.

Occasionally, one of those options is a Heroic Feat. When you choose the Heroic Feat option, you do not pay its listed Heroic Feat cost. The ActionX card itself is the cost. In addition, using a Heroic Feat this way does not count against your normal limit of one Heroic Feat per turn.

X: Seekers of Fortune™ is an ever-expanding adventure card game, and future expansions will introduce many more ActionX cards. Expect to discover new Sites, Relics, and Feats as the world grows.
